Mother Father Gentlemen!

After big hit of his previous sensational music video Gangnam Style, the Korean musician Psy released his new music video "Gentlemen" on Youtube yesterday. The music video is still fun and ridiculous as the last one. The music sounds a bit darker and has not much melody, like many musics for club. In the m/v he does many pranks to everyone, and for me, it reminds Nolbu in Korean traditional fable, Heungbu and Nolbu.

The new heroine of the M/V, Ga-In, is well-known singer in South Korea as a member of the k-pop girl group Brown Eyed Girls. She first became famous after the group's album [With L.O.V.E] made a success. At that time the title song L.O.V.E ranked No.1 on the most of the tv and online charts, and Ga-In's became famous for her stocking fashion and the smoky eye-line make-up style, which now widely shared among the Korean girl groups' styling. At that time she changed the color of her stocking every performances, and it gave her a weird nickname: Son-tocking - which is named after her last name Son and stocking. Also check the music as well!

As expected from many entertainment magazines(in South Korea), his new m/v was already viewed over 40 million times! Could it break the 1.5 billion views record of Gangnam Style? That would never be easy but this song is the one most possible candidate for the new record.

So what? Check it on your eyes!

I like the scenes at 0:07, 2:02. Like it.

  Trivial of the Gentlemen:
- The white thing Psy is eating is Ga-rae-tteok[가래떡] which is a type of so called rice cake.
- The pelvic dance is borrowed from the Brown Eyed Girls' Abracadabra performance. Check the link!
- Many actors in the M/V are the members of the most famous Korean TV show "Infinite Challenge". If you see the scene a bit sudden in the M/V, then it would be them.
- At 2:35, you can see some part of his really wet.. It was from the show Infinite Challenge.
- The part he says "wet Psy" again, might be the parody or homage of the song Passion - Steve Yoo(who was really famous but kicked out from South Korea after his military service problem). You can check 1:35 he says "west side".
